Just let me know how long do you intend to stay in Myanmar (Burma) and what do you want to visit. On request I will suggest you a program that fit your own wishes and you will decide the best for your travel.

Your travel in Myanmar (Burma) is going to rely on how long you are going to stay and what do you want to see. In 28 days (visa length), it is not possible to visit the whole country. You will have to come back. If you have more than 2 weeks, you will have time to enter in the culture and I will arrange for you a very interesting journey to give you a very good insight into the country.

During the monsoon (June to September), you should not go in the Chin State, Arakan (Sittwe) and the south of the country because of very heavy rain.

Stay less than 5 days
If you are on vacation in South-East Asia, it could be a good idea to take a flight to Burma (inexpensive air fare with Air Asia). In 3 to 4 days, you will have time to visit Yangon and its extraordinary Shwedagon Paya, the former royal city of Bago and the Kyaik Hti Yoe, the fabulous golden rock.

From 7 to 14 days
Here, the traditional tour Yangon - Inle - Mandalay - Bagan. If you decide to take some flights or if you don't stay several days in every city, you will be able to add some extensions like Pwin U Lwin, Pindaya Cave and Kalaw. Or from Inlay Lake to Mandalay and Mt Popa to Bagan. Return Yangon by plane or through Pyai.

From 15 to 20 days
Here, you really have more time to visit the country with, for example, 3 days in Mandalay and around (Amarapura, Sagaing, Ava), 3 days in Bagan, Monywa, Kyaik Hti Yoe, Shipaw or Pwin U Lwin, or Inlay, Taunggyi and Kakku. I can also arrange a trek from Kalaw to the village at the top of the mountain and sleep there, (with special trekking guide)

From 21 to 28 days
From Yangon to Kalaw, with trek to the village and from then to Inlay Lake (trekking guide). Visit of the Inle Lake and surrounding (by bicycle) or canoe. We will continue to Kakku (with Pa O guide), than Mandalay with visit of Amarapura, Sagaing, Ava, U Bein Bridge). From Mandalay to Mt Popa and Bagan, 3 days visit of the temples. Bagan to Pyay and Chaung Tha Beach and back to Yangon.

The above-mentioned itineraries are only suggested one. Feel free to contact me at any time to ask information about Myanmar – Burma or to set up your program at :
